Helping a new club stay on course

Problem

DCC was contacted by Nuneaton Golf Club (NGC) to design a logo for their new Junior Academy. The Club was founded in 1906 and is regarded as one of the Midlands’ top golf destinations. As part of its commitment to continual improvement, NGC wishes to make sure that its young members—the club’s future—remain and join as full golf members. The clubs contracted DCC to create their social media banners and visual identity.

Solution

The goal was to develop a brand that captured the vibrant and happy environment of the Nuneaton Golf Club Junior Academy. We created early logo concept designs and collaborated with NGC to refine the finished brand before creating a visual identity and social media banners to emphasise their offering.

Result

The academy has witnessed a rise in junior membership with the construction of the visual identity and social media banners, as well as members winning numerous competitions and accolades, including the Junior Sports Personality of the Year. The identity’s use of vibrant, youthful colours and contemporary typography is drawing in the correct demographic.
